John Corley
John Corley is Senior Vice President, Marketing and Canadian Sales Operations. He was appointed to this position in January 2011 in a move signifying Xerox's integration of sales and marketing.Prior to this appointment, Corley was vice president and general manager, Canadian Operations for Xerox Canada. He also completed an international assignment in the U.S. where he led marketing strategy for Xerox North America (XNA) and was responsible for the development of go-to-market strategies across all channels and market segments. In this role, he also lead the development and implementation of XNA’s indirect channel expansion initiatives and participated in the successful integration of Xerox’s $1.5B purchase of Global Imaging Systems.
Corley has also supported sales operations across agent, dealer and reseller channels, which included marketing, sales and compensation, technology and business operations as well as Lean Six Sigma projects.
Corley joined Xerox in 1994 as a sales representative in Toronto. Since then, he has held a wide variety of sales and marketing positions across Canada and the U.S. He has led Xerox Western Canadian sales operations as well as Xerox Canada’s strategy and marketing organization.
Corley earned a degree in economics from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. He is an alumnus of the University of Western Ontario’s Ivey Business School, graduating from their Executive Development Program, and a member of the IT & Operational Committee of the United Way. Most recently in 2008 Corley was recognized as one of the Canada’s top 40 under 40.
He lives in Toronto with his wife and two sons.
