TORONTO, ON -- Xerox Canada today announced the appointment of Tom Oldfield to vice president, Graphic Communications. Mr. Oldfield succeeds Amato DeCivita, who held the position from 2005 to 2008.

Prior to this appointment, Oldfield ran Xerox Canada's supplies business unit, where he was responsible for customer satisfaction, logistics, marketing and sales of all Xerox supplies products across Canada. Oldfield joined Xerox Canada in 1985 and has held a variety of senior leadership positions since that time, including director of pricing for Xerox Canada and director of sales operations for the GTA.

In his new role, Oldfield is responsible for leading the organization's focus on the New Business of Printing - one of Xerox's key growth areas - in addition to the development and implementation of graphic communications strategies for Xerox in Canada. This includes overall strategic direction, sales coverage, marketing and customer support programs and events.

"Xerox Canada's graphic communications organization has grown exponentially since its inception three years ago," said Kevin Warren, president and CEO, Xerox Canada. "Tom's depth of experience and strong business acumen make him a natural successor to lead this department and drive momentum in an industry that figures prominently in the future of Xerox."

Oldfield holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and an MBA from York University.
