TORONTO, ON -- Xerox Canada today announced the appointment of Rick Sellers to vice president, British Columbia Sales Operations, effective immediately. This is a new position for Xerox Canada, as British Columbia was previously bundled within the company's Western operations.

Prior to this appointment, Sellers was director of Xerox Canada's national sales management process, responsible for field manager coaching, as well as strategy and implementation of sales standards and reporting processes across the country.

Sellers joined Xerox Canada in 1995 and has held a variety of senior leadership positions since this time, including director of national sales operations, and various field management assignments across western Canada.

"Western Canada has always been a source of consistent, steady growth for Xerox," said Kevin Warren, president and CEO, Xerox Canada. "However, the economic explosion in this area of the country has made it necessary to dedicate an executive presence in BC. Rick's breadth of Xerox experience and extensive knowledge of the Western marketplace make him an ideal leader for this extremely important geographical division of our business."

In his new role, Sellers is responsible for leading the organization's sales activities across the province, including overall strategic direction, sales coverage, marketing and customer support programs.

Sellers holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Abingdon University in England. He lives in Vancouver with his family.
