TORONTO, ON - Martin Bachant has been named vice president of Xerox Canada's Quebec Market Centre. Bachant has most recently served as vice president, Eastern Sales Operations and Canadian Public Sector for Xerox Canada in Ottawa.

Bachant will be responsible for the Quebec operations based in Montreal, establish the business strategy and growth of sales. He joined Xerox in 1989 as a sales representative in Montreal, and has held many roles since that time, including sales coach, sales manager, general manager of major accounts and marketing manager for the Quebec operations. In 2001 he led the country top sale's team. Prior to his assignment in Ottawa he was also the director of marketing for the Office Business Group, a division responsible for half of all annual sales revenues for Xerox Canada

Bachant earned his EDC M.B.A. from McGill University, and a bachelor's degree from the University of Quebec in Montral.

He lives in Montreal with his wife and three children.
